Beat Raemy - CEO - 26 Years of Business Experience
Born and educated in Switzerland, our CEO and co-founder Beat Raemy has a long and successful track record in business. in 1988, he founded Transdoc (www.transdoc.ch), a company providing high quality online translation services to international companies and business professionals. He succeeded in building the company up to a multinational business with turnover in the seven-figure range, with such renowned clients as Reuters, Pax Insurances, Baume & Mercier,… He then went on to create and build another startup, W3 Internet Services Ltd. (www.w3internet.com).

Since W3's inception in 1996, Beat has overseen incredible growth in the company. He has expanded W3 from its base in Nova Scotia to become a global network of affiliates in six countries worldwide.

Our CEO is constantly exploring how the emergence of new technologies can reshape existing ecosystems. His seventeen years spent building and managing successful concerns in the Tech industry have provided him a unique outlook on how startups can take advantage of such fundamental changes to exploit new business models and reach out to new clients. Beat is now fully busy with making Spatial View another success story.

Wolfgang Opel - CTO - 31 Years of Business and Scientific Experience
Wolfgang, Chief Technical Officer and a co-founder of Spatial View, has over 30 years experience in electronic and software development, computer aided design, and marketing. His impressive scientific background includes a degree from the prestigious Rostock University, but does not limit him to the “technical” side of things.

He is also the founder and former CEO of an IT and engineering consulting company in Dresden Germany, CIDEON, which he expanded from local to international operations.

Wolfgang is one of the leading world experts in 3D viewing and applications and is directing our scientific team with the right mix of scientific vision and business acumen.

Alexandros Salavrakos - Chairman - 16 years of Business Experience
Alexandros chairs the SVI Board of Directors. Following an MBA at Columbia University in New York, and a few initial years as a business consultant in investment banking in Greece, he moved to Belgium, first as an associate then as CEO and Chief Administrator of a "business angel"  investment fund that specializes in investing in very early-stage small companies.

His role does not limit itself to evaluating business opportunities. He has been mostly involved for the past 10 years in actively advising and guiding the companies his fund has invested in, and helping them through the early stages of life up to the IPO and M&A stage.

Alexandros has been instrumental in guiding a number of success stories to the market - the most notable being the start-up that developed into the Expedia travel company.   

Al Lopez - COO - 36 years of Business Experience
Al Lopez is a senior business management professional with international software industry experience in strategic planning, market research, corporate development, product management and engineering management. He was most recently Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at Platform Computing.

Previously, Al co-led Autodesk's integration of Alias where he led key corporate functions including corporate development, market research, new product initiatives and business management of the industrial design business unit.

Prior to joining Alias, Al was General Manager of Sietec Open Systems - a Division of Siemens Nixdorf; Vice President of Unix Products development for Nixdorf USA; and held various business and software engineering management positions at Hewlett Packard, Apollo Computer and Digital Equipment Corporation. Al earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science at Pratt Institute in 1973 and has attained certificates of proficiency in market research methodology at the Burke Institute.

Marc Pavlopoulos - Director, Business Development, North America - 16 years of Business Experience
Marc has held senior positions in sales and business development for a variety of venture funded software firms based in Silicon Valley. His focus has been on bringing emerging technology to market. His previous experience includes business development at Voltage Security in Palo Alto. Before joining Voltage Security, Marc launched the initial sales operations for Wakesoft Inc. in San Francisco.

Additionally, Marc has experience in venture capital at MMV Financial, where he was responsible for identifying and analyzing new investment opportunities in technology and life sciences.

Marc holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from San Diego State University.

David Vanhove - CFO - 14 years of Business Experience
A skilled and perceptive professional, with a Master in Commerce & Finance and specialization in statutory audit and accounting expertise, David has over 13 years experience in international finance and business.

Building on his successful experience in the audit firm HLB International, he became a consultant to small companies. In that capacity, he helped establish, develop and manage the European headquarters for the subsidiary of an American transport industry leader. He successfully undertook a variety of other assignments related to the internal organization and management of a number of other startups in Europe, specifically helping in matters of takeover and ownership restructuring. In 2003, he joined a large group in the Energy sector to achieve his personal goals in International Financial Reporting Standards implementation, financial and operational processes, and organization.

David now helps Spatial View achieve the very high operational standards required of any successful organization.

Ihor Petelycky - Director, Stereo 3D Imaging Products - 21 Years of Business Experience
Ihor brings to Spatial View rich and valuable experience in strategic product management and in marketing multimedia software for the consumer market. Born in Canada and educated in Canada and the UK, he started his professional career in television at TVOntario, and a number of television production companies, with a focus on post production technologies.

In early 1996 Ihor joined MGI Software as Product Manager and became Chief Product Strategist. At MGI, he launched the first PC based consumer video editing application - VideoWave - which maintained major market share throughout its life cycle. He received patents related to video editing methods and processes, and launched the first PC based PVR in 2000 with Hitachi in Japan.

A speaker and presenter at numerous conferences and trade shows, he has won numerous industry awards. Before joining Spatial View Ihor was Director of Business Development of Imaging Products Group at iseemedia Inc., and instrumental in developing close relationships with major digital camera manufacturers, ODMs and OEMs. Spatial View will benefit from his excellent ability to evaluate market dynamics and trends, to identify the key players and to build relationships which enhance product market position and increase the value proposition to the customer.

Paul Roscoe - Director Partnerships, Alliances and Channel Management - 15 years business experience
Paul has held several senior positions leading the partnering activities for companies within the hi-tech space.

As Director of Business Development with Bridgewater Systems Paul was instrumental in developing partnerships with leading network equipment vendors to create joint solutions and new paths to market. As Director of Business Development with Research In Motion, Paul established reseller relationships with wireless operators across the globe for the distribution of the world's leading push e-mail solution, BlackBerry.

As a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, Paul focused on helping his clients drive operational efficiencies through the implementation of new technologies and best practices within the finance and supply chain functions.

Ms. Donna Teggart - Head of Marketing & Communications - 22 years of Business Experience
Donna brings over 20 years of senior marketing communications experience driving strong global brands in diverse markets including film, video, gaming, broadcast, automotive and product design for startups to midsize B2C and B2B organizations.

As VP of Technology Communications, Donna managed the P&L servicing SAP Canada, Bell Aliant and Teranet Income Trust with responsibility for image building, corporation reputation and external affairs. As a Senior Director of Marketing Communications at two global technology companies, she led the strategic planning and corporate communications at Alias and Platform Computing.

Donna has assisted many organizations to exceed sales targets through customer-centric marketing initiatives and high-impact demand generation campaigns.

Managing her own successful marketing communications firm for 15 years, Donna became a trusted advisor in marketing communications management. Her portfolio of world-class clients included Forsythe Technology, Zarpac Technologies, Side Effects Software, TOPIX Computer Graphics & Animation, Spin Productions, The Design Exchange and The International Academy of Design & Technology to name a few.
